| I do not make the standard sheet cake , but a deliciously tasty cake centerpiece that will make your guest ohh and ahh. Birthday cakes can be made single tier in which pricing starts at $2.00 a serving and several stacked tiers starting at $2.50 a serving. Prices are based on the detail of the design. All stacked tiered cakes contain torted tiers in which include (4) 1" layers of cake, (2) layers of buttercream icing filling and (1) layer of creme or fruit filling iced in buttercream and covered with fondant. All single tier cakes can contain (2) 2" layers of cake and (1) layer of creme, fruit, or buttercream filling and covered with buttercream icing or can be ordered torted and covered with fondant. I do not make stacked tiered buttercream cakes. Buttercream icing is made with "butter" and we all know what the consistency of butter is at room temperature. Cakes can be custom designed from invitations, a theme and of course an existing design I have created in the past or someone else's design. 2-D and 3-D designs are carved from larger cakes into their final shape and covered in fondant. Plastic ornamentation is rarely used. What you see is gumpaste, which is a form of sugar "play doh" and is hand sculpted. I would love to design something for your special event. |
